LET THEM EAT CAKE

CAKE is a laboratory drag show founded by Brigiding in 2019. It was originally created as a platform for queens to come together and celebrate all forms of drag in one show.

Back when drag was heavily censored, and queens from different clubs were often not allowed to perform at other venues. CAKE was created to break those barriers and provide artists with a space to freely express themselves, experiment with their craft, and perform numbers we rarely see in drag venues before the rise of Drag Race Philippines.

Now, CAKE is making its return once again.

What began as a platform for queens to simply come together has evolved into a space that discover new talents, empowers drag artists to explore and challenge artistry, tell their stories, and build a stronger sense of community.

“LET THEM EAT CAKE”

A celebration of excess, pleasure, rebellion, and unapologetic self-expression.
